The University of Miami continues to soar ever higher on the list of top-tier institutions that make a major impact on the world.

The University of Miami is led by President Julio Frenk, who began his tenure in August 2015. A noted leader in global public health and a renowned scholar and academic, President Frenk was the former dean of faculty at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Mexico’s former minister of health.

President Frenk was named the University's sixth president in April 2015.
