Museums and Galleries

Boasting one of the Southeast's most distinguished permanent collections, the Lowe Art Musums presents a variety of multicultural exhibitions and special events throughout the year. The CAS Gallery hosts a variety of exhibits throughout the year, including several shows highlighting the work of UM students in the visual arts.


A wide range of performances and recitals in musical genres, including classical, jazz, contemporary, international and more, are presented by the Frost School of Music. The school's month-long Festival Miami, Florida's premiere music festival, offers world-class musical programming in diverse styles,


Enjoy a variety of contemporary, classic, and foreign films at the Bill Cosford Cinema, an art-house cinema that has served Greater Miami for more than 60 years. A screening site for University and area film festivals, the facility also hosts filmmaker lectures and other special events.


The Jerry Herman Ring Theatre is the site for a varied range of stage works, ranging from musicals, dramas new and old, and fresh interpretations of classics. The Department of Theatre Arts produces the offerings in a space that accommodates flexible staging and seating arrangements.


Explore the unique collections of the Libraries through exhibitions, lectures, symposiums, and other programming on a variety of scholarly and cultural topics. Exhibitions and events take place year-round.

BankUnited Center

Concerts, family shows, lectures, and trade shows are among the events at this 8,000-seat multipurpose entertainment facility. Plus, the arena is the home of UM's men's and women's basketball teams.
